DITO TELECOM Starts Operation Nationwide

The long wait is over as DITO TELECOM announced their initial operation in some parts of the Philippines. DITO Telecom was first introduced in July 8, 2019, formerly Mislatel (Mindanao Islamic Telephone Company, Inc; 1998-2019) and owned by Mr. Dennis Uy. The third telco player DITO has claimed its position when the company won the government-sanction bidding to challege the two major telecom giants in the Philippines, the PLTD and Globe . To initiate its service and operation, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has made a technical audit on February 2020. As of September 2020, Dito has completed around 859 cell sites out of the planned 1,600 site to cover 37% of the Philippines population.
